DESIGN PHASES AND PROCESS
We are proud to participate in a project at any phase. Elevate Development + Design handles every aspect of the interior design process from concept to completion. Our team works closely with our clients to create a custom design that harmonizes the functionality and style of your personal space. This is our design process from start to finish
PROGRAMMING
During the design consultation, we listen carefully to the client’s wants and needs. We take the information collected to create a detailed scope of work. From there, a preliminary schedule and budget are determined.
CONCEPTUAL / SCHEMATIC DESIGN
Conceptual ideas are developed through the use of imagery, sketches, and finish samples. A comprehensive presentation of these ideas is presented to the client. All client input from the presentation is then thoughtfully considered when making any further schematic design decisions.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Architectural drawings are prepared. These include plans, elevations, detailed drawings, renderings, etc. Contractor and sub-contractor resourcing and bidding begin. Preliminary cost estimates are evaluated. Furnishings, fixtures, and appliances are selected. Any necessary permitting procedures, which include but are not limited to building permits, HOA correspondence, environmental tests, etc begin.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
Construction drawings are finalized as well as any shop drawings from sub-contractors. All finalized details are documented in drawings, schedules, and specifications. Once all documents are approved, they are then issued for construction.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
All proposals for furniture, fixtures, appliances, accessories, etc. are submitted to the client. Upon approval, orders will be placed. Coordination with vendors, shipping companies, and sub-contractors will be made by Elevate Development + Design. We will make necessary site visits for any installations and deliveries to ensure the quality of all products.
